Haddenham Beer Festival Update
1st April 2015
The Haddenham Beer Festival Committee is continuing its hard work to bring Haddenham an event worth waiting for and we are looking forward to livening up the summer months with music and light-hearted merriment.
There will be a great and varied selection of beers and ciders, with additional contributions from Three Blind Mice Brewery, Pickled Pig Cider, and a barrel kindly donated by Tracy, the landlady of The Cherry Tree, who has been a great support. The full list of beers and ciders will be announced closer to the time of the event, but we hope to have around 30 different beers and ciders.
The reason for the beer festival is to support local charities and good causes and so far there are stalls being run by the Haddenham Preschool Committee, FORAS, the Haddenham Colts Football Academy, the Haddenham Bonfire Committee and more to be confirmed. If you are part of a local group and would like to have a stall, please do get in touch!
“We have had a great response to the event, and have had offers of help from many supportive companies and individuals, for which we are very grateful.” comments Toby Bush, committee chair, “Without the help of villagers this event would not be able to take place and we are all looking forward to what promises to be a great weekend.” If you would like to volunteer, or sponsor any the last few remaining barrels, then we would love to hear from you.
The festival will take place over the first weekend of July and will be joining in with the Best of Haddenham celebrations: opening on the evening of Friday 3rd, with all-day events for the family on Saturday 4th and a more relaxed afternoon on Sunday 5th.
